Not about to do any of this though. Safe mode cannot run the game because the renderer is not active. Steam verify was done two emails. Steam would have nothing to do with this issue and i'm not about to delete my steam files. Of the 300+ games working on my computer this is the only game causing trouble and it's only one scene in the game.

And when putting the game in public/private while being in a party, I get spammed with [Party chat audio prioritized] This is not due to dead island but something psn related. The servers are having some issues. Just got the collection on sale yesterday and tried playing co op with my friend. Same thing happened, even with the party chat spam.

Wanted to co-op dead island today with my brother, took the day off and all, but I can't play the game. I'm playing on Windows 10. I have souns when starting the game and menu has sound effects, But as soon as I start a new game, I have no sound when I'm playing. I thought maybe I just need to get past the prologue, BUT the game doesn't continue in the prologue in the elevator. Door won't open
