You will know the cure has worked when you see some red circles coming from the zombie villager, but it will take between 2 to 5 minutes for the zombie villager to be cured. If you build an iron bar prison around the zombie villager it will speed up the process by 4%, but this isn’t really needed.
From my testing today, comfort does not seem to impact quest giving in the slightest. Comfort (as is stated in the code), impacts the cost of goods/trades with the villager. What i usually do is put 2 zombies in a boat and then let them infect villagers by “driving” a boat with a villager against the boat with zombies. Iron Golems shouldn't kill Zombie Villagers in the process of being cured. I'm surprised this happens, but iron golems will kill zombified villagers being cured, which honestly kinda sucks.
